CHS Students at Cowtown Welding Challenge

The Saturday before Thanksgiving we had four students compete in the Cowtown Welding Challenge in Fort Worth. This was a welding contest where the students were given a project to build but did not know what the project would be until the contest started. They had to work as a team to read the blue prints and build the project. Competition was tough with schools such as Aledo, Granbury, Canyon Lake and many more.
Holden Rogers, Nolan Davis, Chris Montes and Ethan Banas all worked very hard and well together at this competition. While they did not win the contest, between the four of them earned $1000 in tuition scholarships to the Tulsa Welding School.
