CHS Information for the week of Feb. 2-7

This is week three of the six weeks. We went from having one page of tutorials to four pages. A lot of this is due to students being absent from class or poor performance on test. This time of year gets extra busy and students have a tendency to let their classroom obligations suffer. We need your help to monitor your child's progress and reminding them to stay on top of their class work.

There are lots of activities this week for you to be aware of when planning for the week. Check below to see which activities that pertain to you and your child.

Friday night is when the Jinx Tucker award will be presented to the coaches and players of the varsity football team. We will also have the 8th graders here hosting a silent auction and chili supper. The meal will be served from 5-7 in the HS cafeteria. Tickets can be purchased for 8$ in the MS or HS office prior to the event or at the door that evening. Please make every effort to be here that night to support our Cubs.

Spring Pictures are tomorrow (Tuesday). We will only take pictures of students who have money to prepay for their pictures.

We will host a college awareness night for 9th and 10th grade students and their parents this Thursday night. We will walk you through the things your child should be doing now to prepare for their college transition. We will be in the HS cafeteria at 6:00 pm.
