Jinx Tucker Award Presentation -- 8th grade chili supper -- Feb. 6th

Amazing things are happening at CHS this year.  Our varsity football team just received the Jinx Tucker award.  The Waco Tribune doles out the honor at the end of each football season.  It is given to a program that shows team success, improvement throughout the season, sportsmanship, fan support and a will to win in the face of adversity.  Clifton has won the award two other times, once in 1963 and once in 1967.

The Waco Tribune will be here to present the award to our coaches and players between the Varsity Girls and Varsity Boys basketball games against West (February 6th). Since this is such a great honor and fan support is a part of the award, I am asking that you make plans to come out and support our Cubs.

The 8th grade class has a group of students who will be traveling to Washington D.C. this summer and they will be hosting a chili supper that evening in the cafeteria between 5-7 pm.  For $8 you can get a bowl of chili, fritoes and all the fixings, dessert and a drink.

Come on out for a great evening of food, entertainment and watch our boys being honored.  This will also be Senior Parent Night for the girls basketball team.
