This week will conclude the first six week grading period. Grades will cut off on Friday Oct. 3rd for the six weeks. Report cards will be handed out on Oct. 8th, this will also include a report that shows your child's reading grade level. Both of these reports will need to be reviewed, signed and returned to the school.
How quickly time flies. There are only 56 instructional days left before Christmas break. Your student's daily attendance has a direct impact on their grades. Remember that you can only write five parent notes. After five, you must send a doctor's note in order for it to be excused.
Monday night, Sept. 29th, is our first senior parent meeting where we will discuss steps you should be taking to ensure your child's smooth transition into higher education. This year is so busy with "senior" activities that it is easy to get behind or even miss college deadlines. We are committed to try and help you through this process. We will meet at 6:30 in the HS cafeteria.
